Behold a real experiment in consciousness. Can I do a reading under hypnosis? What can my unconscious channel about you? About the audience? Let's find out as master hypnotist Daniel Ryan puts me into a trance state. Yes, really. One night only. 20 seats. Tickets here until we sell out. This is the strangest thing I've ever done.
We're putting my skills to the test -- literally. A neuroscientist named Juan Acosta will be strapping an EEG on my head as I do readings to see what's going on. That's right: I'll be entering my semi-trance state of reading another person and you'll be seeing my brainwaves simultaneously. Then a TBD scientist will talk about the neuroscience of empathy. Interesting, right? Especially for a tech-inclined audience. The sooner you get your ticket, the cheaper it is.
Bay Area empaths, I have a special invitation for you. A three hour advanced workshop to learn how to do what I do. That is, surrender yourself completely to another person's emotions. And come back safely. This is not for folks who already consider themselves empathic and who have a fairly high degree of emotional self-awareness. At a private residence with only 25 tickets at $50. Veggie dinner afterward is included.

I'll be reading Amber Rae, author of "Choose Wonder over Worry" as part of her book launch. Then I'll be readings folks from the audience for maybe 45 minutes? All at Late Sunday Afternoon, a large store and event space in Venice (not to be confused with late Sunday afternoon, an actual time of the week. To be clear: the event takes place on a TUESDAY EVENING). It's free. No RSVP necessary. Starts at 7pm. I'll go on at 8:20 or so (best guess). Here's the Facebook page. Angelinos, Stop by!
I'll be in Los Angeles, in Venice specifically, reading whoever shows up at Mystic Journey's incredible event space. This is my first real show in LA, my native land! Buy your tickets (just $20) before they sell out on the event page. Festivities start at 7pm.
I'm interviewing fellow empath Sydney Campos, whose new book "The Empath Experiment" just came out. "Sydney will guide guests in a meditation and embodiment practice as included in her new book in addition to delivering an activating talk with Q+A on energetic mastery, intuitive intelligence, authenticity and emotional well-being." If you're not a member of the Assemblage, email me at davidrsauvage[at]gmail.com and I'll put you on the list. Here's the event page.
Back by popular demand, I'm teaching everything and anything you need to know about being an empath. Starting with how to protect yourself from other people's energies. And ending with surrendering your nervous system to the collective consciousness. It's pretty cheap if you buy your ticket early. Three classes, all online, all interactive. If you can't make one of the dates, no problem. Buy the course anyway and download the class you missed.
This is me, telling my story, doing readings, and tying it all together into a single night of magic and experimentation. Directed by the fabulous Catie Davis. Three performances only at Theaterlab at 357 W 36th. Tickets are $25. Your three options are: Friday, April 13, 8pm. Saturday, April 14, 8pm. Sunday, April 15, 3pm. Tickets will sell out and then you'll have to email me -- and I'll be totally overwhelmed and may not respond. So buy them now!
If you don't know Gino Yu, you're missing out on an experience. No one, and I mean no one, is a better gatherer and collector of people at the surreal intersection of science, consciousness and folks who have, in his words, "special abilities." On Saturday, a bunch of us will be gathering with Gino to talk for 15 mins each and hang out for hours. Event goes from 2pm to 6pm with a dinner to follow. If you're in SF, this will be SOMETHING. Check out the agenda here. I'm on stage at 3:45, followed by my fellow empath Sydney Campos.

Hosted by Sacred Space, I'll be performing my EMPATH show at the fabulous Spring Studios. Thursday, December 14th, 7pm - 8.30pm. Q&A to follow. Come when you like, but give yourself at least 30 mins to watch. 6 St Johns Ln, New York. NY 10013. Just RSVP to me at davidrsauvage[at]gmail[dot]com and I'll put you on the list.
I'm in San Fran, and this Wednesday at 7 I'll be running a workshop as part of an ongoing salon series called One Salon SF at Make School. Basically, I'm going to be teaching left-brainers how to feel not just their own emotions but those of others, too. If you're in the Bay, come! 1547 Mission St, San Francisco, California 94103. Just come!
I am teaching a four week course on how to thrive as an empath through the Evolver Learning Labs. Highlights shall include:
- What the hell is an empath anyway?
- Self-protection 101.
- How to fully experience another person.
- What's the empath's role in society.
Grateful to Evolver for putting this together. Sign up by Nov 6 for the Early Bird Special.
I'll be doing readings and telling a supernatural story at Catland in Bushwick for a scary evening they're calling Paranormal Parlour. Tickets are only $10. I'm afraid to channel the dead, but I confess it happens sometimes (despite my skepticism as to the possibility of it happening). So I'm gonna talk about it, in public, for the first time, in the spirit of the holiday. Thanks to Sanctuary for bringing it out of me.
October 3, at the Alchemist Kitchen, I'm doing all things EMPATH at 8pm. Telling my story, doing some readings, answering questions, holding a mini-workshop, all of it -- for a fun evening of playful co-emoting and supernatural emotional traveling. $25 ticket online / $30 at the door -- and I'll make it awesome, promise.
If you haven't been to the Assemblage yet, here's your chance. It's an awesome new space -- imagine if We Work and Buddha had a baby together. (Or maybe that was a terrible analogy). I'm moderating a panel of awesomely gifted (and quite quirky) psychics. Then we'll break out into groups so you can learn about your own psychic superpowers. You need to RSVP, but it's free.
Are you an empath, too? I'm facilitating a gathering of us sensitive types at the Alchemist Kitchen. We'll cover the basics: how to protect yourself and how to hone your gift into a real skill. But mostly, we'll be bonding with each other, sharing one fluid emotional space. Tickets $20 in advance / $25 at the door.
This coming Monday, for the first time ever, I'll be doing readings in front of a live audience -- at the beautiful ABXY gallery on the Lower East Side. I've always felt my readings were a kind of performance art. And now IT'S HAPPENING.
I am excited to be speaking alongside ADAM PIORE, author of The Body Builders: Inside the Science of the Engineered Human and GERWIN SCHALK, neuro-engineer, building a "thought helmet" enabling people to communicate telepathically. Science, empathy, supernatural abilities, and technology all in a big conversational soup. Event is at NYU. Buy your ticket here.
How did you realize you had these gifts? How can I develop my own intuitive abilities? These are the questions I get the most. I'll do my best to answer them on a panel with Noah Berman and Annette Tacconelli at the famous Alchemist Kitchen in Noho. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Come! Eve Cohen and I are hitting our stride on "I Feel You: The Empath Experience." Watch me do readings in VR -- no headset required. If you have a relatively new, powerful computer, you can download the software and experience it in 2D. Go to Altspace VR, sign up, and click on featured events. You'll see us.
I'll be presenting in Shanghai on June 8 and 9. Details still forthcoming. For more, check out: http://www.cgcsts.org/index.php?id=humanpotential.
